On January 13, according to the news released by the organizing committee of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, the second Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia is scheduled to be held in Qingdao from June 2 to 4 this year based on the consultation from various parties.

Founded in 2001, Boao Forum for Asia is a non-governmental, and non-profit international organization dedicated to promoting regional cooperation and global development in Asia. Boao Forum for Asia launched the Global Health Forum in 2018 and held the first conference in Qingdao in June 2019 to build a high-end platform for global political, business and academic circles to exchange and cooperate in the field of health and medical care.

It’s reported that the second Global Health Forum will be held under the theme of "Health Beyond Health – In the Year of Sustainable Development 2030", with the goal of "Health for All" advocated by the United Nations and WHO. The conference will bring together dignitaries, experts and talents in the global health field to discuss hot topics related to universal health coverage and will adopt the model of "1+30+15", which consists of 1 opening plenary, 30 sub-forums and 15 important events. The conference will last for 3 days, with 30 sub-forums on three sub-topics: " Health for All", "Innovation for Health" and "Health in All Policies", including a roundtable summit between Chinese and foreign ministers and entrepreneurs, a health night talk, Global Health Expo and many other events.
