Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia to be held on June 2-4

Qingdao Daily News / Guanhai News January 13. Today, Guanhai News journalist learned from the Organizing Committee of Global Health Forum (GHF) of Boao Forum for Asia that the second GHF will be held on June 2-4, 2021 in Qingdao, China, based on the consultation from all parties.

 

In a preparatory work conference of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia previously, it’s said that the conference will last three days, in a mixture of“offline + online", and the number of participants attending on site is planned to be 2000. The conference and the expo held at the same time have included project matching and venture capital investment project, to promote the launch of industrial projects in Qingdao.

 

The conference adopts the overall planning of "1+30+15", including an opening ceremony, 30 sub-forums and 15 important events. One opening ceremony and two plenary sessions will be held at the same time, which will form a connecting link between the preceding and the following. The first Forum is in the form of "1+28", with a total of 28 sub-forums. With two more thematic sub-forums this year compared to last year, the total 30 sub-forums are designed around the three topics of " Health for All", " Health in All Policies" and "Innovation for Health". The 15 key events include roundtable dialogues between Chinese and foreign ministers and entrepreneurs, health night talks, salons on the theme of anti-epidemic heroes and other activities.

 

The Global Health Expo will be held with the conference at the same time. The overall planning of the Expo is "1+4+9", which includes an opening ceremony, four professional exhibitions and nine important events. It is reported that before June 2021, the organizing committee will also work together with international organizations, industrial organizations, media and enterprises to plan and organize a series of important events, so as to promote and prepare for the second conference in 2021.

 

Both the conference and the expo have added project matching and venture capital investment project sessions, in order to better showcase Qingdao's investment policies and promote the cooperation in industrial projects through these activities. To meet the needs of Qingdao, the conference will focus on the construction of Qingdao Medical and Health Care Industrial Park and the SCO Demonstration Zone, with the support from the University of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, leading local medical and health care enterprises and government investment funds, integrated high-quality medical innovation projects and medical and health care resources from Japan, Korea, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Israel and other countries to help build a new highland in Qingdao's health industry.
