On June 11th, 2019, Mr. Li Baodong, Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), and Mr. Elhadj As Sy, Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the Global Health Forum of BFA held in Qingdao. In the future, BFA and IFRC will draw on their respective strengths to promote universal health coverage and facilitate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
