Mr. Du Jiahao, Secretary of CPC Hunan Committee, meets with BFA Board of Directors

On October 14th, members and representatives attending 2019 BFA Working Meeting of the Board of Directors in Changsha, met with Mr. Du Jiahao, Secretary of CPC Hunan Committee. Mr. Xu Dazhe, Governor of Hunan Province also attended the meeting.

Mr. BAN Ki-moon, Chairman of the Board, Dr. Gloria Macapagal ARROYO, Former President of the Philippines, Mr. Shaukat AZIZ, Former Prime Minister, Pakistan and Mr. Carlos M. GUTIERREZ, Former Secretary of Commerce of USA spoke on behalf of the Board. They congratulated the 70th anniversary of the founding of P.R.C., appreciated Hunan for support and hospitality, and marveled by the great achievements of Hunan in economic and social developments.

Mr. Du Jiahao welcomed the Board Directors of BFA and made a brief introduction on Hunan’s economic and social developments, especially on Hunan’s science and technology innovation, environment protection and improvement of people’s livelihood. He spoke highly of BFA’s contribution to world development and prosperity as well as BFA’s positive role in facilitating communication and exchanges between China and the rest of the world. He also expressed wishes of Hunan to strengthen ties with Boao Forum for Asia.
