On August 14, 2020, Luo Xiaoqin, Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee of Global Health Forum (GHF) of Boao Forum for Asia Conference and President of Beijing Huaxia Hongli Health Technology and Research Co., Ltd. met with Ms. Fu Yumei, Director of Government Affairs of Merck, and her delegation at the office of the Organizing Committee in Beijing.

The two sides signed a cooperation agreement on the Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia. As an important partner of the 2nd GHF, Merck will participate in the opening ceremony, sub-forums, closed-door sessions and other important events of the 2nd Forum, and will organize a high-end luncheon meeting of Merck during the conference.

Merck will also establish a long-term cooperation with the GHF Organizing Committee to jointly promote in-depth collaboration before, during and after the conference. The organizing committee will also help Merck expand its business in medicine and health, life science and high performance materials, and assist it in industrial landing and technology upgrading in important Chinese cities such as Qingdao, Chengdu and Xiamen.

Li Peiyun, Director of External Affairs of Merck Investment (China) Co., Ltd, Gu Xiaoyan, Director of Public Relations Department and Yang Zhiyong from Conference Academic Department of the Organizing Committee, also attended the signing ceremony.
