On the morning of June 2, Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister of Thailand, delivered a video speech at the plenary of the second Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, themed on "Health in All Policies".

Anutin Charnvirakul said, there is a Chinese proverb that says a crisis is an opportunity riding a dangerous wind. Despite the negative impact of Covid-19, opportunities arise for all parties to work together to address complex challenges. Although "health in all policies" has been promoted for several years, it receives inadequate attention in most countries. Covid clearly demonstrates that how health issues affected the whole society directly or indirectly. Covid has prompted policymakers to prioritize health and strengthen health systems with resilience at top of political agenda. Governments and businesses need to work together to fight Covid.
