On the afternoon of September 16 (local time), BFA Vice Chairman Zhou Xiaochuan met with French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire in Paris, France.
Le Maire welcomed the “International Cooperation on AI” seminar held by BFA together with the Fondation Prospective et Innovation (FPI) and the Atlantic Council in Paris. The two sides agreed that with AI leading the development of the 21st century, China, France and the US, three major countries in driving AI R&D and application, should strengthen dialogue and communication to jointly promote international cooperation on AI. They also stressed the need to enhance cooperation between China and France, and between Asia and Europe. Looking ahead, multilateralism should be consistently championed to resolve global trade frictions and related issues and promote common development in different parts of the world.
Jean-Pierre Raffarin, member of BFA Council of Advisors and former Prime Minister of France, and BFA Secretary-General Li Baodong attended the meeting together.
