On October 15, Kevin Thomson (Tang Moshen), Counselor of Economic Affairs Division of Australian Embassy, Chen Shupei, Commercial Officer, and Tang Kai, Senior Commercial Officer of Investment Committee of Trade Division, visited the Organizing Committee of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, and were warmly welcomed by Deputy Director Luo Xielong, Deputy Director Luo Xiaoqin, and Xie Jingdan, Director of Commercial Cooperation Department of the Organizing Committee.

Director Luo Xiaoqin introduced the conference background and the second conference and is keen to learn the advanced ideas from Australia country to promote better cooperation between the two sides. Director Luo Xielong suggested to promote the cooperation between the two sides in public health policy, the import of medical devices from Australia, and investment in Australia by Chinese enterprises. The representatives of the Australian Embassy hoped to have in-depth cooperation with the second conference in terms of health policies, speeches at the sub-forum, and collaboration between Australian and Chinese businesses.

The delegation of the Australian Embassy said that they would keep close contact with the organizing committee and very much hope to further promote the cooperation for the second conference.
