On the morning of October 24, BFA Vice Chairman Zhou Xiaochuan met with Ahmedr Ali Al Sayegh, UAE Minister of State and Chairman of ADGM, at the headquarters of ADGM. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on promoting economic, trade and financial cooperation between the UAE and the Middle East region and other parts of Asia through the platform set up by Boao Forum for Asia.

Chairman Al Sayegh expressed his gratitude to Vice Chairman Zhou for attending the FinTech Abu Dhabi 2019 and the “Fueling Global Growth: Trade, Investment and Financial Cooperation in Asia” Abu Dhabi Roundtable, and hoped that this would enhance cooperation through the Boao Forum for Asia. Vice Chairman Zhou said that the cooperation between the Middle East and other parts of Asia is promising and he invited high-level representatives to attend BFA Annual Conference. Li Baodong, Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia, Deng Weizheng, CEO of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of the International Finance Centre of Abu Dhabi ADGM, Zhang Xiaohui, Dean of Wudaokou School of Finance of Tsinghua University and Jiang Feng, General Manager of Shanghai Stock Exchange, attended the meeting.
