On November 21, Luo Xiaoqin, Deputy Director, Mo Fan, Director of the International Cooperation Department, and Xie Jingdan, Director of the Business Cooperation Department of the Organizing Committee of Global Health Forum of the Boao Forum for Asia, visited the UNFPA Representative Office in China. Dr. Babatunde Ahonsi, UNFPA Representative in China, and Ms. Wen Hua, Program Officer, welcomed them.

The organizing committee introduced the first conference and focused on the topics and preparation of the second conference. UNFPA expressed that several projects currently underway were in line with the conference and hoped to have its senior officials invited to participate in the second conference and to conduct an exhibition on the achievements of UNFPA in China to celebrate its 40th anniversary during the conference.

The two sides agreed to establish long-term and stable cooperation, and jointly promote the development of public welfare in the field of health in China and in the world.
