The "Emergency and Innovative Medicine Summit and Life Health Industry Expo", co-organized by China Association for Promoting UN Procurement and Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation and supported by UNDP and Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, was held on the afternoon of December 12. Luo Xiaoqin, deputy director of the organizing committee of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, delivered a speech at the forum.

In her speech, Deputy Director Luo Xiaoqin said that the Covid-19 epidemic is not a political issue and should not generate the predictable finger pointing and recriminations. It is necessary to strengthen global cooperation to prevent and control the epidemic. The world is a community of shared future, and more attention should be paid to economic cooperation and mutual economic assistance so as to speed up global economic recovery. The Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, as an international exchange platform in the field of health, strives for enhanced global cooperation and solidarity in achieving a strong recovery.

Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia is a high-end and comprehensive international cooperation platform with wide representation and authority set up by Boao Forum for Asia in the field of health, combining politics, business, industry, academia and research. In June 2019, the first Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia was held in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The conference received wide attention from all sides and made remarkable achievements, and has become one of the high-level international health dialogue and cooperation platforms led by Boao Forum for Asia. On December 22, the organizing committee of Global Health Forum, Nippon Global Medical Organization of Japan and Qingdao Municipal Government will co-organize the "Sino-Japan Health Forum in the New Era " to build a platform for cooperation between China and Japan in medical health and the construction of healthy city, and promote China-Japan health care cooperation. This forum will also be included as an important meeting within the framework of Global Health Forum and an independent international brand in the second Global Health Forum.
