On April 26, 2021, Mr. Li Zengde, Secretary General of Chinese Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control, and his delegation visited the Organizing Committee Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia. Luo Xiaoqin, Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee, welcomed the delegation and the two sides had a cordially discussion.

Luo Xiaoqin, deputy director of the organizing committee, introduced the background of the Global Health Forum and the overview of the second conference. Secretary General Li Zengde introduced the history and basic information of Chinese Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control.

Secretary General Li said that since its establishment, Chinese Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control has carried out many promotion, training and exchange activities related to hepatitis prevention and treatment. He hoped that the foundation would play a supporting role in Healthy China 2030 Initiative through the cooperation with the high-level Global Health Forum.

Deputy Director Luo said it was a great honor to co-host the "Improving Access to Innovative Medicines" sub-forum with Chinese Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control at the 2nd Global Health Forum, and both sides would work together to promote the development of hepatitis prevention and treatment in China.

Both parties had an in depth discussion about the organization of the sub-forum to ensure its success. Meanwhile, they will take this opportunity to establish a long-term and in-depth partnership to promote the development of hepatitis prevention and treatment in China and jointly contribute to Healthy China 2030 Initiative.
