On September 6, Zhang De, Heping District Mayor of Shenyang Municipal Government, and his delegation visited the Organizing Committee of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia (hereinafter referred to as "the Conference"). Luo Xiaoqin, deputy director of the organizing committee, welcomed them and the two sides had a cordial discussion.

Deputy Director Luo Xiaoqin introduced the background of Global Health Forum and the first two conferences to Zhang De and his delegation. District Mayor Zhang De and Deputy Mayor Wang Bin introduced the current urban development and future development plan of Heping District, Shenyang.

District Mayor Zhang De said that Global Health Forum, as a high-profile, authoritative and professional international forum, had enormous influence in the industry at home and abroad, and had rich resources in government, business, industry, academia and research, especially in the health industry, which is highly compatible with the goal of the construction of "4+1" leading industrial system in Heping District. Heping District will focus on the goal of building a new economy as a source of development, and accelerate the construction of a health industry system of medical treatment, medicine, medical beauty and medical care. He hoped to strengthen deep and practical exchanges and cooperation with the Conference, give full play to the international platform and resources of the Conference, support the construction of the China-Japan-Korea International Health Cooperation Demonstration Zone in Heping District, and build a new highland for the health industry in Northeast Asia.

Deputy Director Luo Xiaoqin said that the Conference always adheres to the positioning of "high-end dialogue and practical cooperation", and provides services for the planning and development of healthy cities to promote the upgrading of regional health industry by pooling global health wisdom, and health industry resources. She suggested that the Conference should also coordinate global health resources to foster the high-quality development of local health industry according to the development plan of local government, and make positive contribution to the health cause of Shenyang.
