On February 2, 2021, Mr. Kevin Thomson, Economic Counsellor, Ms. Kylie Lendrum, First Secretary and Ms. Jessica Harrison, Trade and Investment Commissioner of the Australian Embassy in China visited the Organizing Committee of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia. Luo Xiaoqin, Deputy Director of  the Organizing Committee and President of Beijing Huaxia Hongli Health Technology and Research Co., Ltd. welcomed them, and the two sides had a cordially discussion.

Deputy Director Luo Xiaoqin introduced the overall planning and preparation of the second forum and expo, elaborating on the highlights of the 30 sub-forums and 15 important events. Counsellor Kevin Thomson expressed his willingness to participate in the second forum and expo, and to co-organize the China-Australia Health Dialogue with the organizing committee on "Aging and dementia treatment, medical drug and device standards, testing and vaccines, and doctor training". He hoped that the organizing committee could assist in inviting Chinese government officials, while the Australian side would invite Australian government officials and business representatives to participate in the dialogue,and would send delegations of Australian health organizations and enterprises to attend the second expo. The agenda, the list of invited guests and the proposal of the dialogue would be submitted to the organizing committee as soon as possible to discuss and promote the cooperation.

Yin Xing, interpreter of the Australian Embassy, Gu Xiaoyan, director of government affairs department and Hu Mingna, director of marketing planning department of the organizing committee attended the meeting.
