Aproved by the state government, postpone the 2020 National College Entrance Examination will be postponed for one month, and will be held on July 7 to 8. The examination schedule is as follows: on July 7, Chinese 9:00 to 11:30; Mathematics 15:00 to 17:00. on July 8, arts comprehensive / science comprehensive 9:00 to 11:30; foreign language 15:00 to 17:00. The examination schedule can be announced later in Hubei Province and Beijing after it’s approved by the Ministry of Education based on the evaluation on epidemic prevention and control situation.

186 COVID-19 patients are discharged from hospitals after recovery, 1418 close contacts were removed from medical observation, and there are 62 severe cases less than the previous day.

 

691 imported confirmed cases (including 20 severe cases) and 169 suspected cases are reported. The total number of imported confirmed COVID-19 cases reported was 806, and the total number of COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals after recovery reached 115 with no deaths.

Zhong Nanshan said in an interview with Shenzhen TV on April 1 that the global epidemic can be controlled with strong measures taken by various countries, "I guess the global Covid-19 cases will decrease around the end of April ". With no end in sight to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the UN climate change talks which were due to take place in Glasgow, the UK, in November, have been postponed until 2021, the COP Bureau of the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) in Bonn, Germany, announced on the first. Dates for a rescheduled conference in 2021 will be set out in due course following further discussion with parties.

China will hold a national mourning on April 4 for martyrs who died in the fight against the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak and compatriots died of the disease, according to the State Council. During the commemoration, national flags flied at half-mast across the country and in all Chinese embassies and consulates abroad, and public recreational activities were suspended across the country. Train drivers and station staff will notify passengers via radio before the mourning begins.

Marta Morgan, the deputy minister of foreign affairs, has tested positive for COVID-19, Global Affairs Canada announced on the 7th. In a statement, Global Affairs Canada said she is exhibiting mild symptoms and is in good spirits. The department added that it began contact tracing “to advise and protect employees” and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within their walls.
