On February 25, Christopher Loan, Gourdeau-Bussiere Marilene, Nan Duan from the Canadian Embassy in China and Carrie, CEO of Canada Wellness Institute (CWI) visited the Organizing Committee of GHF.

Prof. Wang Yu, expert advisor of GHF, expected to enhance Sino-Canadian cooperation, and to reach multi-level strategic cooperation with Canada Wellness Institute. Luo Xiaoqin, deputy director of the organizing committee, welcomed the Canadian Embassy in China and Canada Wellness Institute to be a part of the third GHF to be held in summer, focusing on the dialogue and exchange between China and Canada in the health field and fostering regional cooperation in the development of global health industry. The Canadian side recognized the role and contribution of CHF since its inception and accepted the invitation.

The two sides also shared their insights into the joint contribution of a global mechanism on the mutual recognition of health certificates, chronic disease management, healthy city construction etc.
