GHF and China Association for Promoting UN Procurement announce partnership for the sub-forum of the 2nd Global Health Forum

On March 2, 2021, a signing ceremony was held between the Organizing Committee of Global Health Forum (GHF) of Boao Forum for Asia and China Association for Promoting UN Procurement, which became a partner of a sub-forum of the conference. Luo Xiaoqin, deputy director of the organizing committee of Global Health Forum, and Wang Xunan, Executive Vice President of China Association for Promoting UN Procurement, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.

 

The two sides agreed to co-host "2021 Forum on UN Sustainable Development Goals" at the second Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia to be held in Qingdao from June 2-4. The sub-forum, authorized by the United Nations Office in Geneva, will focus on the framework of sustainable development and analyze global health development cases. It also aims to ensure a healthy lifestyle and promote human well-being.

During the second Global Health Expo, the two sides will co-host 2021 Forum on UN Sustainable Development Goals in Eurasia and the UN Procurement Briefing. In addition, the Global Health Expo will also set up a UN procurement exhibition area to release procurement information of UN agencies and embassies in China, as well as cutting-edge technology and latest products of the Expo.

As a partner of the sub-forum of the second Global Health Forum, China Association for Promoting UN Procurement will work with the Conference to focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as the life and health development, emphasizing the interplay between multiple goals and the importance of poverty reduction to economic development. At the same time, both parties will also work to build the brand "Global Health, Global Procurement", and cooperate with UN agencies to help integrate more Chinese enterprises into the global public procurement supplier system, and continue to make positive contributions to an open economy in the world.
