Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition is located in the coastal core area of the central dynamic zone of West Coast of Qingdao, the Ninth National New Area in China. With a total investment of 50 billion yuan, covering an area of 3,000 mu and a total construction area of 200,000 square meters, it can accommodate 6,165 international standard booths. The venue is composed of 12 rectangular pavilions. Each pavilion covers a net area of 10,000 square meters, with a net height of 12.5 meters, a ground bearing capacity of 3-5 tons, and power supply of 3,000 kW. The exhibition hall is divided by a cross corridor in the centre. The corridor is 550 meters long and 45 meters wide from east to west, and 350 meters long and 35 meters wide from north to south, covering a net area of 40 million square meters. The logistics channel around the exhibition hall is 23 meters wide, with the freight gates exceeding 7 meters in height and width and is accessible for all kinds of ultra-wide and ultra large trucks directly entering the hall for unloading.

The design of Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition is inspired by the image of local historical site "Langyatai". It absorbs the elements of graceful marine culture and embodies the organic unity of the Chinese traditional culture and marine culture.

The Expo this session has 20,000 square meters of exhibition space. The achievements of enterprises and technologies including people's livelihood medical care, rehabilitation and old-age care issues especially attract the attention of the public. Green food, health care products and portable wearable equipment are all on display at the exhibition, and public welfare projects such as disease mutual aid alliance and health public welfare fund are introduced. The Expo attracted 40,000 visitors.

The 2^nd Global Health Expo featured two halls—Global Health Hall and Shandong Hall. Depending on the resources and advantages of the Forum, the Expo set up international procurement exhibition area, provincial and municipal delegation exhibition area, Traditional Chinese Medicine Goes Global exhibition area, pharmaceutical innovation and technology achievements exhibition area, conference partners exhibition area, intelligent robot experience area, Chinese medicine AI experience area, Japan exhibition area, Korea exhibition area and well-known enterprises exhibition areas including Yili, Haier, Medical & Hi-tech. Nearly 200 enterprises and organizations from home and abroad participated in the Expo.
