On the morning of May 18, Zhang Liansan, Deputy Director of the General Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province, and his delegation visited visited Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition, where the second Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia will be held, to oversee the work and give instructions on the preparations for the second GHF.

Accompanied by Wang Qingchun, Deputy Secretary General of Qingdao Municipal Government, and staff of the relevant departments of Qingdao Municipal  Government and of GHF organizing committee, Zhang and his delegation visited the International Conference Center, International Exhibition Center and the headquarter of the organizing committee.

Following it, they had a meeting on the preparatory work. Zhang Liansan, Deputy Director of the General Office of the People's Government of Shandong Province, Ma Lixin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of Shandong Provincial Health Commission and Secretary of the Party Group of Shandong Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Wang Qingchun, Deputy Secretary General of Qingdao Municipal Government, and officials the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Municipal Health Commission, Qingdao Sub-council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and staff of GHF Organizing Committee attended the meeting.

Deputy Director Zhang Liansan expressed his condolences to everyone and said that it is crucial to organize a successful and safe Global Health Forum in the context of the epidemic. The provincial and municipal governments will strongly support the organizing committee in the organization of the second conference and expo. At the same time, he emphasize the importance of the prevention and control of the epidemic and the COVID-19 safety measures according to the situation of the domestic epidemic.

Deputy Director Luo Xiaoqin expressed her gratitude to the provincial and municipal government for their support, and said that the organizing committee would spare no efforts in the preparation of the conference.
